On High Five Friday March 1, our very own Diann Greenlee gave out high fives to students at Trewyn School who dressed up like "someone they wanted to be like when they grow up." If you have the chance to volunteer to give high fives, we encourage you to do so!

Early Learning For All in Peoria had some important guest readers recently visit our classrooms. State's Attorney Jodi Hoos, Retired Major General Gary Dylewski, Joshua Gunn (CEO of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce), Chris Setti (CEO of the Greater Peoria Economic Council), and Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins took the time to read some of our students' favorite stories to the classes.
Afterwards, our guests joined others from ReadyNation Illinois to present the release of a new report on social emotional learning in early childhood and the impact of it later on in life. The students enjoyed the time with their guests and Early Learning For All staff felt re-affirmed in the work that they do after hearing all that the presenters had to say.

Our Truancy and Homeless Ed Team attended the ICEARY Conference yesterday and today (March 7 and 8). This year's conference featured inspiring keynote speakers and exceptional PL opportunities.

Early Learning for All is doing a donation drive for essential hygiene items for parents and children through the month of March!
Please bring your donations to St. Paul Baptist Church between 9am-3pm M-F. We appreciate your support!

The Peoria Regional Superintendent considers the Moonlight graduation one of the top three events of the year! Congratulations to all of the graduates! One survived a terrible car accident before the test and still passed. One was a stroke survivor escorted by her granddaughter across the stage. One needed 20 years to complete the test. But 10 graduates got the Illinois High School Diploma tonight (GED)!
