The Greater Peoria Leadership Council through Choose Greater Peoria wants to partner with Peoria County schools and the Peoria County ROE to showcase talented youth on Wednesdays every week between June 18 and Aug 6 from 11:00-1:00PM on the Caterpillar Rear Plaza! We will provide the sound and equipment as we did this past Spring. We invite schools and groups to bring soloists, duos, combos, or even a performance group of instructors to come and showcase their talents! Congratulations to our new Regional Superintendent, George McKenna, who was sworn in today! McKenna served as the Assistant Superintendent at the Peoria County Regional Office of Education since 2016. Before then, McKenna worked as a principal, assistant principal, dean of students, special education teacher, and physical education teacher at school districts around Illinois.
