The Rotary Club of Peoria North invites students to attend their business luncheon 4 times per year. Kyle, Kaden, Cash, and Robbie did a great job yesterday as representatives of PRLC. They enjoyed meeting the Rotarians, having lunch, and listening to the guest speakers.
Regional Superintendent Beth Crider was a judge for the Bradley University Student Expo. This project studied the Theory of Mind with preschoolers.

We are thrilled to have Anni Reinking facilitate another four week online book study, starting this Monday, April 17. The book is "Multiplication is for White People - Raising Expectations for Other People's Children" by Lisa Delpit.
As you read this book and engage with other resources, you will have the opportunity to reflect, as an educator, on ways that the current education system is not built for every student, but how you, as a changemaker, and create a learning environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
The book study will run April 17-May 13, 2023. You will earn 12 PD Clock Hours for successful completion of the book study and the cost is only $20. You MUST PURCHASE the book on your own.

ROE Adult Literacy will be conducting an Adult Basic Literacy & ELL Volunteer Tutor Training at the Peoria North Branch Library, Grand Parkway, Peoria, IL 61615 on April 24, 26 & 27, 2023 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. You should plan to attend all three dates.
