We are now in our new home - in the new Health and Human Services Building at 2116 N Sheridan Road, Suite A. Office hours are now 8am-4:30pm, and parking is much easier.

Great day! The ROE participated in the ribbon cutting today on our new location at the Health and Human Services building!











ROE 48 will be closed today, Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.


ROE 48 will reopen at our new location tomorrow, January 21, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. A public open house and tours will follow until 4 p.m.


The ROE closes at our current location in the Courthouse today at 11:30am. We will reopen to the public in our new location at the new Health and Human Services Building. on Jan 22. Please join us for the ribbon cutting and tours of the new building at 10am on Tuesday, Jan 21.

The PNC Foundation announced 41 “PNC First Grant” recipients receiving cash awards of up to $1,000, given to outstanding teachers from schools throughout central Illinois. Our own Leslie Ptak was awarded $950 for the PRLC's Green Horizons Community Garden. Congratulations!



The ROE will be moving from our current location in the Courthouse to the new Health and Human Services Building. Here are important notes regarding this move:
-The ROE will be open January 6-10 and 13-16 in our current location at the Courthouse from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
-The ROE will close at 11:30am on Friday, January 17, 2025
-The ROE office is closed January 20 and 21, but you are invited to join us for the Open House and public tour of the new building starting at 10am on January 21, 2025.
Starting January 22, the ROE will open to the public at our new location at the Health and Human Services Building at 2116 N. Sheridan Road, Suite A. Office hours will be 8:00am-4:30pm.
