Donation Drive to Support Local Veterans - Now through September 16
Peoria County is collecting items to be distributed at Goodwill’s Stand Down for Homeless and At Risk Veterans event, which provides men and women with much needed resources and support. Veterans receive winter clothing, hygiene products, and a haircut.
We are working to collect 50 of each item below to contribute to this cause: Shampoo, Men's Deodorant, Combs, 3-in-1 body wash .
Collection bins are located at the Highway Department, Sheriff's Office/Jail, State's Attorney's Office, Veterans Assistance Commission, County Administration, and Planning & Zoning/Supervisor of Assessments Office. We appreciate anything you can contribute!
